This mid-range priced bike was one of the first to sell in volume and in 2012 it was developed into the Evo versions 1,2,3,4 and 5, which are much the same for 2013. As a result you can find the occasional Focus Cayo sale for last year's bikes. The specifications increase as you go from the Cayo Evo 5 up to the 1, particularly with better performing drivetrain components, with the price range covering around £1500 to £3000.

This range takes you from mid-price range all the way up to pro carbon framed models used in top international races. You'll be lucky to find a Focus Izalco sale in the early part of the year, but inevitably there will be some versions that do not sell as well as expected, so keep looking towards the end of the cycling season. The price range for the Izalco starts at around £2000, all the way up to over £6000.

This the entry level range of bikes which you can buy for anything between £600 and £1500, depending on specification. There is likely to be a Focus Culebro sale at some point towards the end of the season and the choice of bike ranges from the basic 5.0 and 4.0 models, up through the Culebro SL 3.0, 2.0 and 1.0, some available in both race and compact models.
